While There’s Time
While There's Time is a conversation about community, healthcare, and the people who hold both together here in the Four Corners. Hosted by Vince Moffitt, CEO and owner of Basin Health Companies, the show sits down with the caregivers, team members, and neighbors who make this region a place worth staying. Basin has cared for local families since 1992 through home health, hospice, personal care, and the Basin Good Neighbor Foundation, always with one goal: helping people live with dignity, comfort, and independence in the place they call home. These are honest, unhurried conversations about showing up for one another, while there's time.

Welcome to episode three of While There's Time, and our first guest from outside the Four Corners. Basin CEO and owner Vince Moffitt sits down at Triple J Ranch with his longtime friend Kevin Pannell, an Army infantry veteran from southwest Arkansas who now lives on the side of Mount Hood in Oregon.
Vince and Kevin first met on a Team Rubicon tornado deployment in Mayflower, Arkansas, where Kevin, a double amputee, outworked nearly everyone on the crew. They talk about why disaster relief means so much to veterans: the camaraderie, the mission, and the healing that comes from serving others.
Kevin shares his story. He was wounded by grenades in Iraq in June 2004 and spent a year and a half recovering at Walter Reed. He talks openly about the opioid addiction that followed, how he got clean on his own, and the long road back to feeling happy again. He also shares the moment in the hospital when he chose to forgive the young men who attacked his unit, and why carrying anger is poison.
They close on what comes next: writing a book, restoring coral reefs, teaching adaptive scuba diving to veterans and people with disabilities, and why Kevin and his wife love the Four Corners, from Navajo Lake to fry bread and green chile. It is a conversation about resilience, responsibility, and saying yes to life, while there's time.
If you or a veteran you love is struggling, call or text 988 and press 1 to reach the Veterans Crisis Line.

Welcome to episode two of While There's Time. Basin CEO and owner Vince Moffitt sits down with Ireke Cooper, owner of Cooper Fire Protection Services and a longtime friend, for a wide-ranging conversation about business, leadership, and giving back to the place you call home.
Ireke shares the Cooper Fire story: a second-generation family business that started in mechanical contracting, found its calling in fire protection, and grew into the only local, turnkey fire protection provider in the Four Corners, now with a third generation coming up. He and Vince trade hard-won lessons on leadership: hiring people smarter than you, empowering your team to make decisions, and "letting go of the vine" so a business can run and grow without you.
The conversation gets personal. Ireke talks about the discipline behind health and fitness, why he traded fleeting motivation for daily habits, and the reading and mentorship that keep him growing. Both men share a love of the river, including Ireke's two Grand Canyon trips this summer, and the gratitude that comes from focusing on what is good about this community instead of what is not.
They close on service. Ireke walks through the Volunteer Incentive Program, the nonprofit his family helped build to pay young people to serve their community rather than sell junk food, and the projects it has funded across San Juan County. It is a conversation about discipline, gratitude, and leaving your corner of the world better than you found it, while there's time.

Welcome to the very first episode of While There's Time. Basin CEO and owner Vince Moffitt is joined by Tyrell Jim, a newer member of the team and Basin's Outreach and Referral Coordinator, for an honest conversation about who Basin Health Companies is and the people it serves.
Tyrell shares his own path: growing up in Two Grey Hills, earning a master's in public health, and following his late mother's encouragement to come home and serve his community. Vince traces his journey from a career in the fire service and disaster response to stepping in and carrying forward the family business his parents founded in 1992.
Together they walk through the four ways Basin cares for local families: home health that helps people recover and stay out of the hospital, hospice that supports patients and their families with comfort and dignity, personal care that lets people remain safely at home, and the Basin Good Neighbor Foundation, which makes sure care is never out of reach for those who cannot afford it. They also talk about the culture behind the work, from treating employees like the company's true customers to the wellness program, volunteer matching, and community traditions like Christmas in May.
At its heart, this episode is about something simple: investing your time, energy, and kindness in the place you call home, while there's time.
